1 (3 pound) roast
1 large onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2-4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
2 cups water
cut up potatoes and carrots
Place roast in a 5 quart Dutch oven. Add onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, sugar and pepper. Add water. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Add vegetables and bake 45 minutes to 1 hour longer or until fork tender.

Mmmmm... pot roast. I'm a big fan of pot roast.
If this were in a slow-cooker, would 350 be the high or low setting?
Pot roast is my favorite comfort food!
For pot roast, my crock pot book says 10 to 12 hours on low or 5 to 6 hours on high. I've had great success with pot roast in the crock pot! I love my crock pot, especially in the summer.
